Codebro (“we”, “us”) is a software organization based in Sweden. We build mobile applications and operate this website at codebro.se.

2. What this policy covers
This policy describes how we handle information when you visit codebro.se or use mobile applications published by Codebro on iOS and Android.
3. Data we collect
Website
Our website is a static informational site. We do not run account sign-in on codebro.se. Standard web server or CDN logs (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL) may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site.
Our apps without an account (guest mode)
If you do not create an account, app content you enter is stored locally on your device. We do not receive that data on our servers.
Our apps with an account (optional)
If you create an account, we may collect:
- Email address — for sign-in and account recovery
- Account identifier — a unique user ID from our authentication provider
- Profile and app data you choose to sync
- Technical data — app version, API requests, and aggregated analytics events
Advertising
The app may show banner advertisements (for example via Google Mobile Ads). Ad partners may collect device identifiers according to their own policies. Paid ad removal may be offered later.

- Provide and improve our apps and website
- Authenticate your account and sync your data when enabled
- Respond to support and privacy requests
- Understand aggregated usage and maintain security
We do not sell your personal data.

6. Where data is stored
When cloud features are enabled, account and synced app data is stored with infrastructure providers in the European Union (including AWS in Stockholm, eu-north-1, where applicable). Local-only data remains on your device. Website delivery may use global CDN edge networks.
7. Retention
- Account data is kept until you delete your account
- Analytics data is retained according to our internal retention schedule
- Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@codebro.se. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Account deletion
When account deletion is available in the app, you can remove your cloud account and associated server data subject to backup retention.
10. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
